The Sims 4 confirms next paid content coming this week

The Sims 4 has confirmed the next two Kits coming to the game this week.

Pastel Pop Kit swear Everyday Clutter Kit are both launching on Thursday, November 10 on the usual platforms – PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.

For Pastel Pop Kit, the team collaborated with popular content creator Jesse ‘Plumbella’ McNamara to provide a collection of items with “quirky pastel prints, irregular shapes, and vintage vibes”.

The new furniture items and pastel colors seem ideal for designing a softer and more eye-catching bedroom, and Plumbella said they were excited to see how Simmers incorporate the Kit into their builds.

“I really miss the Tiny Home era of The Sims community, so I really hope to see people make studio apartments or tiny homes with all of the objects,” they said.

“There’s a lot of personality and variety in the swatches, so I’m excited to see how people choose to style them and if they’ll style the objects together or separately with other packs.”

Everyday Clutter Kit is the other Kit, and as the name suggests, it comes with a variety of ‘clutter’ items to make buildings feel more lived-in.

Items such as used coffee cups, makeup and jewelry boxes, phone cases, and stacked magazines, books, or games can be scattered around to help add more personality and give further ways to make each household feel distinct.

The release of these two Kits comes two months after the launch of First Fits Kit and Desert Luxe Kit.

Plenty more for The Sims 4 is expected over the next few months, with two expansions and improved babies both recently teased at a special Behind The Sims Summit event last month.

After much speculation, we also finally had confirmation that the next core game in the franchise is in development, with the project having a working title of Project Rene.

It doesn’t sound like Project Rene will launch for a few years, so we can expect to see continued support for The Sims 4 for a while yet.

The Sims 4 is available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
